We are excited to announce the launch of the application process for this year’s Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) cohort at the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt.  AWE offers enterprising women the knowledge, networks and access they need to launch and scale successful businesses. By promoting women’s economic opportunities and ensuring that women have the capabilities and resources needed to participate in the economy, the AWE program directly supports the U.S. National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality. At a local level, AWE harnesses the power of public-private sponsors, local partnerships and U.S. Exchange Alumni networks to help women, and their businesses grow, driving localized prosperity in communities in more than 100 countries worldwide.  This will be Frankfurt’s second cohort after the implementation of our first cohort last year focusing on Ukrainian women. 

This opportunity is open to individuals in Southwest Germany who can commit to this program of networking and localized course work and are who are passionate about starting up or building up a business.  We invite members of your organizations to submit applications to https://bit.ly/3V9dQSY. There were a couple of women at our joint event that were interested in joining! I would be extra grateful if you could pass along the information to the group we visited on October 2. We will be evaluating these applications along a competitive procedure, and selected candidates will be notified.
